I write this post roughly 24 hours before North American Dismantling takes 3 of the tall stacks down at the former pulp mill. This week there's been some very touching words written about the mills and the men who over the years, worked and died there. Tomorrow will mark the passing of a solemn era in the history of the North Country and in keeping with the dignity of the moment, I will remain silent about issues that might otherwise, distract us.
